Meet the Founder
Bonnie Dillabough is a media professional who got
hooked on the internet in 1996. Drawing on her varied professional career skills including: television production, computer and web skills instruction, internet marketing instruction, plus being a concerned citizen, Bonnie created a unique idea that would change the scope of internet and redefine the term “information highwayâ€.
First came the inspired plan to establish a venue, and a means for citizens of the USA to learn about political issues and candidates without the “spin†or alteration, without ideas being boiled down to sound bites of 1 minute (or less), and without the prohibitive costs for those wanting to get their message heard.
From this idea was born the network of Good Politics Radio internet radio stations, using internet broadband for transmitting the programming. Soon, the technology was in place to enable podcast programming to be heard on-demand by merely “clicking†a link on a website. These methods were quickly adopted, and the ability to produce programming became enhanced. With internet Good Politics Radio “stations†already established for each State of the United States, the ability to quickly get pivotal information to the public almost immediately was no longer going to take a full scale production effort.
GPR (Good Politics Radio) traffic rapidly began to soar, to record numbers of several thousand visits per day. This number reflected visits from over 70 countries of the world.
The need for a similar venue to be created for other topics inspired Bonnie to launch another network of internet radio, suitably named the PodStar Network. Thus far there are 16 such channels or “stations†available for content, with more in development all the time.
PodStar Network is experiencing rapid growth, with a team working around the clock to better serve the need and demand for these systems and services. To learn more, CONTACT US.Â
